Cette édition 2012 offre, pour toutes et à tous, un festival alternatif du film d’animation d’Annecy d’une notoriété et d’une dimension internationale. Ce sont des jeunes de toutes nationalités qui envoient leurs films. Films que vous retrouverez à partir du 1er Juin sur les écrans du Off : soit chez plus de 250 commerçants du bassin Annécien et sur les programmes de TV8 MtBlanc… mais aussi cette année bien au-delà de notre ville !

Déclaration de Madame Nicole Salomon
Co-fondatrice des Ateliers d’Animation, des Journées Internationales du Cinéma d’Animation d’Annecy (ex-festival) et membre honoraire de l’ASIFA (Association Internationale du Film d’Animation).
« AnnecyOFF est une initiative à laquelle j’apporte mes encouragements. Je suis particulièrement heureuse de voir renaitre chez un groupe de jeunes les motivations que nous avions dans les années 1970 lors de la création de l’Atelier du Cinéma d ’Animation d’Annecy et de Haute-Savoie. AnnecyOFF prolonge ce qui nous a inspiré lors de cette création, et apporte une direction complémentaire aux contenus du Festival (FIFA).
Thibault et son équipe ont eu l’idée d’inventer une manifestation qui mette en avant les travaux des moins de 25 ans et la possibilité d’une diffusion aussi large que possible de leurs œuvres. » Nicole Salomon

Réservez votre place pour l’Arcadium – Places limitées ne tardez pas
Charlie Winston, au lendemain de son passage à l’Olympia, et Emilie Simon seront là pour annoncer le nom des vainqueurs du concours international du vidéo-clip d’animation. Ils ouvriront le premier grand « video-clip dancing night » à l’Arcadium lors des 24h du Off.
Patrick Smith présentera une sélection du « Drawn Animation Festival de Brooklyn ».
Merci à vous toutes et vous tous qui soutenez toute l’année Annecy Off, la création et le talent des jeunes de moins de 25 ans, réalisateurs, artistes, auteurs, acteurs économiques … la liste est déjà très longue 
For everyone, this edition 2012 offers an alternative to the festival of the Film d’Animation d’Annecy which fame and dimension are international. Films are sent by young people of various nationalities. Starting June 1st in Annecy, you will be able to see those films in 250 shopkeepers and at TV8 MtBlanc channel.

« AnnecyOFF is an initiative in which I gave all my support. I’m particulary enthusiastic to see reborn in this group of young people, the motivation we had in the 70′s, when we build up the ‘Atelier du Cinéma d ’Animation d’Annecy et de Haute-Savoie’. AnnecyOFF is extending what which inspired us from the creation, and this action is giving a complementary vision and another contribution to the all contents of the Festival (FIFA).

Charlie Winston and Emilie Simon will announce the winner’s name of the International Animated Videoclip contest. They also will open the first “Videoclip dancing night” for the OFF 24-Hours which will take place at the Arcadium in Annecy.
Patrick Smith will introduce an exclusive selection of the « Drawn Animation Festival de Brooklyn ».
